Chapter 3 Switch to a movie star for love

I tossed the clothes into the suitcase, hastily finished packing, and prepared to leave.

Ji Tao walked to the dining table, loosened his tie, and ordered me around as usual. “Hao Hao, get me a glass of water.”

Shen Zhizhi pressed close to Ji Tao, her voice sweet and cute—but her eyes held that familiar provocation. “I want cold-brewed tea, thank you, Sister Jiang.”

I went to the kitchen, filled a glass halfway with ice, then marched back to the living room and dumped it directly on them.

Shen Zhizhi screamed and jumped up.

Ji Tao’s brows furrowed tightly.

I shrugged innocently. “No drinks here. All the food’s in the trash. If you two don’t mind, you can dig it out and eat—after all, you’re not picky.”

Ji Tao stepped forward to block me. “What are you making a fuss about? It was just for promotion! Why are you clinging to such a trivial thing?”

“Ji Tao, your tongue was practically down her throat, and that’s trivial?” I scoffed. “Sorry, I’m germaphobic. I have no interest in sharing saliva.”

Shen Zhizhi’s hair was soaked, but she ignored it. She grabbed a dry towel and dabbed at Ji Tao’s face with a look of deep concern.

“Brother Ji Tao, you should change clothes before you catch a cold. Did Sister Jiang not make dinner? I’ll cook instead! It’s my fault you two fought—I’ll make it up to you.”

I let out a sneer. “Go ahead. Just don’t make his hemorrhoids act up.”
